Tips for Visa to Thailand for British and overland

  • British passport holders has Permitted to stay in the country for 30 days.
  • A British passport holder does not need to obtain a visa in advance.
  • Visitors from overland has only 15 days permitted to stay without visa.
  • Authorised or not a valid visa or excide form the extension day is crime under Thai Immigration law and fine of 500 baht / day and can be maximum of 20,000 baht.
  • Overstays of more than 42 days will lead to detention and may black-listed.
